Internal Hemorrhoid
This type of hemorrhoid happens within the anal canal. Internal hemorrhoids, while not as painful as the external type of hemorrhoids, is exceptionally uncomfortable. Usually this is causes when someone has excess pressure in the veins on the inside of the anal canal.
The Internal hemorrhoids have a common symptom of the sufferer having a constant need to go to the toilet. Many times you will know that you have internal hemorrhoids because you may leave behind a trace of blood on the toilet paper or you may even get some that coats the stools. When you get and internal hemorrhoid that is forced from your anus this is called a prolapsed hemorrhoid. This particular type of hemorrhoid has the look of a big lump of skin coming out of your anus.
External hemorrhoids
The external type of hemorrhoid is where the condition happens on the outside of your anal canal. This type of hemorrhoid is very painful. In most cases, you will feel a stabbing sensation as well as burning and itching. Bleeding is a common occurrence with external hemorrhoids. Many time bloods will be noticeable on both toilet paper and stool. This happens because of blood clots in the vein. Surgical removal is usually required for these thrombosed hemorrhoids.
Another problem, which is many times confused with actual hemorrhoids, is the “fissure” hemorrhoid (this is not a hemorrhoid). These anal fissures are usually just tears in the skins, which, if unattended, will become a hemorrhoid. When passing stool the anal fissure is exceptionally painful.
Child Hemorrhoid
The least common of the types of hemorrhoids are Child hemorrhoids, luckily this does not happen often, however it does happen to some children.
